VIA DOMANI FOR GALLERIES
Via Domani serves as a unique resource for Galleries and Art Institutions.
We have years of experience helping to manage artists, organize complex logistics, and produce ambitious projects.
Artists & Studio Management
It can be a daunting and uncertain task when an artist is given a large opportunity or needs to scale up their production. Moving from a simple studio practice to the production requirements of a full-scale international career is a challenge for even the most organized and entrepreneurial artists.
Via Domani serves galleries or artists directly to guide these transitions. We understand the needs of artists to maintain an authentic and natural practice while avoiding the pitfalls of overwhelming management needs and large capital investment.
Production and Public Works
Artists today work in every material and context imaginable. In the global production market, amazing resources can be found around the world to realize these works. However, evaluating, contracting and communicating with, and managing these vendors can be a challenge for both artists who need to focus on their practice and for galleries and other organizations who may not be versed in production management.
Via Domani can help source and manage these relationships. We are your advocate, providing oversight, finding efficiencies, and ensuring the highest levels of quality for your projects.Design & Marketing

Artist Editions
We have years of experience producing high-quality Artist Editions. Prior to founding Via Domani, Mathieu Victor served for 12 years as an art director for the artist Jeff Koons and created hundreds of editioned objects with partners such as Supreme, LVMH, and Taschen Publishing. We have gone on to work with art edition producers such as The Thing Quarterly and Exhibition A.
Fine Art Sourcing
We have developed unique fabrication techniques for a wide array of projects, including monumental sculptures, architecture, couture jewelry, and luxury furnishings. Our deep material and process knowledge can help you navigate unique technical challenges. Via Domani can connect you with global resources for top-quality design and manufacturing. We are equipped to negotiate projects on the international market and manage even the most demanding creative endeavors effectively.
For Freedoms
Via Domani worked with the Summit conference series to produce art programming for their conference and artist residency.
For their 2016 ‘Summit at Sea' cruise, we partnered with the For Freedoms project, which merges contemporary art with contemporary politics. We helped For Freedoms to produce and activate projects in a variety of media around the 2016 election. Through collaborations with artists such as Zoe Buckman, Carrie Mae Weems, and For Freedom's founder Hank Willis Thomas, we have helped develop unique projects that supported the group's ambitious goal of influencing our constantly shifting political landscape.
Art Conservation
Via Domani has worked with public and private institutions on the digital documentation and replication of objects ranging from Roman antiquities to the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. These processes have applications in collection repatriation efforts, the production of display duplicates, and the creation of digital assets. We have relationships with leading 3D vendors, digital fabricators, and traditional craftspeople worldwide that can reproduce priceless and complex objects using original materials and processes with the greatest possible fidelity available today.
We are also experienced with the conservation and reproduction of contemporary artworks that utilize non-traditional materials, such as found objects, now obsolete technologies, and industrial manufacturing.
Nicole Eisenman Catalog
Nicole Eisenman has today become a highly influential artist, but in 2006, she was just ready for her first comprehensive catalog with gallerist Leo Koenig. Via Domani helped to organize and digitize her archives, working with the artist to review and document over a decade of work. The subsequent catalog was produced with legendary art publisher Walter Keonig.
Material & Process Research
Artists today work in every material and context imaginable. In the global production market, amazing resources can be found around the world to realize these works. However, evaluating, contracting, and communicating with, and managing these vendors can be a challenge for both artists who need to focus on their practice and for galleries and other organizations who may not be versed in production management. Via Domani can help source and manage these relationships. We are your advocate, providing oversight, finding efficiencies, and ensuring the highest levels of quality for your projects.
Digital Textiles
Via Domani has conducted fabrication research in CNC woven textile design and robotically assembled carbon fiber textile structures. These processes not only extend the ability of artists to design fiber-based products but also promise to revolutionize the abilities of complex 3-D (and 4-D) textile structures.
Computational and generative tools will allow textile structures to be built in much more precise ways. Our research into fiber-based structures will allow greater optimization of material properties, including anisotropic properties, the distribution of forces, heat distribution, weight reduction, etc. Complex mechanical properties can be woven directly into structural parts with potential applications in engineering, architecture, and aerospace.
Algorithmic Topologies
Case Study: FF&E Applications of Algorithmically Generated Geometries
A client had proposed a major interior architecture project using generated fractal renderings but needed software and fabrication processes to manipulate and produce these geometries. Via Domani helped to provide material, software, and process research and successfully developed unique fabrication workflows using parametric generative design and digital fabrication technologies. The potential of this technology extends beyond FF&E surface applications and has radical implications for the future of architectural topologies.

Summit AiR
One part incubator and one part residency, The Summit AIR program supported and championed artistic expression and creative entrepreneurialism in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains, Utah, on Summit Powder Mountain, a locus of global inspiration and progressive change.
Composite Form
Our unique Creative Technology Transfer projects take a creative and holistic approach to technology transfer. We engage directly with artists, designers, and universities to develop new applications while building spectacular projects that communicate the potential of new technologies.
Via Domani built a creative partnership between LeMond Composites, a carbon fiber manufacturer with breakthrough technology, and some of America’s top architecture programs. Students at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design and the Yale School of Architecture work with LeMond to realize the transformative potentials of advanced carbon fiber manufacturing using computational design and robotic weaving methods. The concepts and tools these students develop today may shape the structure of the built world for years to come.
NASA / JPL
Via Domani works with NASA and the studio at JPL to produce projects that help new audiences engage with science and JPL's critical missions. In 2019, Via Domani worked with The Studio and The Branded Arts Mural festival to develop the Exoplanet Design Contest for the students of Dr. Maya Angelou High School in Central Los Angeles. Inspired by the work of NASA JPL, students participated in special workshops which helped them integrate scientific information into their projects.
SXSW
Via Domani advised the SXSW on the integration of art programming into their growing festival. The SXSW Art program works to build community, celebrate creativity, and reconnect people to one another through amazing shared experiences.
In 2018 Via Domani worked with festival partners Lyft and Native Hostel to program their Lyft House experience. The city's signature iconoclastic style was on point, with the best of local food and music and a curated exhibition of Austins' eccentric and iconic art cars.
Digital Studio Project
During the 2020 Pandemic, Via Domani developed the Digital Studio Project. This remote education initiative was comprised of an extraordinary collection of remotely accessible studio facilities assembled to assist schools in the immediate pandemic crisis and also work towards developing compelling and affordable resources for new educational models. We designed a series of studios that worked to provide students with unique remote learning experiences and crucial skill sets for next-generation studio practices.
